Adult Psychologist- With You Every Step of the Way
Lifespan Developmental Psychologist
Sabrina work with adults who may be struggling to make sense of themselves. Maybe you experience anxiety, guilt, or feeling depressed, or you recognise a pattern of behaviours that maybe unhelpful across your life - with relationships, parenting, or career/study. Perhaps you have tried to change some of those patterns, however, they seem to be there no matter how hard you have tried.
As human, we develop ways of coping throughout our lives, some coping styles might be helpful at a specific stage of life that may then became unhelpful or not efficient in a different stage or environments. Thus you are hoping to change or develop healthier ways of coping to feel unstuck. .
Sabrina's therapeutic style is relational, person-centered, collaborative, strength-based and warm. I enjoy working with adults who want to make meaningful change. Often this means that our work together will be medium to long term. Sabrina uses a range of therapeutic frameworks to suit your goals, including attachment framework, schema therapy, interpersonal therapy, brief psychodynamic, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and acceptance commitment therapy (ACT).
Seeing a new psychologist can be daunting, especially when you see a therapist for the first time. The therapy space is a safe space for you to tune into and make space for your struggles and your most vulnerable stuff. Sabrina provides a safe environmental aims to help you to feel heard, and supported in your vulnerability. Your relationship with your therapist is important on this journey of exploration.
